“Our dear beautiful old girl is 18. She now has stage 3 chronic kidney failure. She is in no pain, on medication and sees the vet on Monday for more tests. We know we have precious limited time, to cherish with her and that hard discussion is close. We live a very busy transient life and so my thoughts turned to, how do I keep her with us began. When the time comes I don’t want to bury her in a garden knowing I wont be there for the rest of my days. She has been with us since she was 6 weeks old. We all absolutely adore her, as she does us.
