“For girls with hips, I’d recommend sizing 2 sizes up. I typically wear a small in bikini bottoms, but reviews all say size up - so I got a medium. It’s still too tight! I’m 5’2 and 125 lbs, again with some wide-ish hips - so I’d recommend sizing wanted to sizes of depending on your curves. The look of the bathing suit is nice if it fit. The fabric is nice, and it has some extra visual protection without being too much (I really don’t like the high waisted looked on me personally). If I had a Large I think it would’ve been a good purchase.
I bought this while on a brief sale (Labor Day?) and now I’m unfortunately stuck with it because of this company’s silly return policy. (1) that fact that you cannot exchange at all is absolutely ridiculous in 2023. (2) this wasn’t a final sale (which I can understand not accepting returns on) - This was a brief, few day sale on the product. I will not use this company any longer because of this.
Additionally I reached out via email to discuss 5 days ago and never received any feedback. That is frustrating.”
“I'm normally a bikini bottom person, but decided to try the Tummy Tuk just to see how it is. I really like the options for the waist. I can keep the waistband all the way up, or roll it down as far as I like and it feels somewhat firm. But unfortunately I listened to the reviews that said to size up because so many people felt it ran small, they do not. For a Tummy Tuk type bottom, I felt it should have been tighter or a firmer hold, and I think my normal size Small would have done that. I don't think these will fall off when wet, but I don't think they'll have the tummy control I was expecting. Oh well, for the $10 deal not they're not a waste and I'll still use them and they'll still smooth over the tummy area just fine. If not, I can just roll the waist down and wear it like a bikini as usual.”
