“I love these bottoms. I have a few different colors and when the white ones went in sale I snatched them up! To be honest I'm a little nervous about wearing them though. The lining is a light tannish color, which I'm sure is to make sure they don't become see-through when wet ...but also kinda makes them look like they are. We'll see!
I love the length and they are so slimming. I've had four kids and lost (most of) the weight, but I've pretty much come to terms that I'll never have my flat tummy back. The Tummy Tuk shorts make me feel good and I can enjoy wearing them without being self conscious.”
“The 4' inseam of these swim shorts is perfect! The legs are snug, but not binding, so they won't ride up in the water. The wide waistband is high enough to smooth over my slightly loose 'mama' belly. I was a little concerned that these (the white pair) would be too sheer when wet, but they were fully lined with flesh-toned material. While I didn't get a chance to test them out, I think it would do the trick. As to sizing, I'm 5'8', weigh about 165 lbs., wear size 10 pants, have curvy legs, and the large fit perfectly.
Two things kept these swim shorts from being perfect:
1) They do not include an integrated swim trunk, as I was told they did when I called Hapari, and I worry that they would ride up into areas I'd rather not have any swimsuit go.
2) My husband and 12-year-old daughter both thought the white pair were underwear when I came out modeling them with a cute navy & white polka dot tankini top (from another store). Can't have that, so back they went.
Despite my concerns about these bottoms riding up, I'd buy them in a heartbeat if they had colors to coordinate with my tankini tops! More basic colors please, Hapari: red & navy at the very least.”
