“I have been looking at Happy Hair Brush for about four months, debating on the purchase. I was initially a bit cynical about whether it was wise to spend more money on an online purchase, only to potentially end up with another useless brush.
Over the years, I have tried at least 8 different brushes with very little success.
I have found only one brush that has worked to-date to effectively brush knots out of my daughter's fine, easily-tangled, very long hair (no names, but retails for around $195), but she still runs away. I don't really want to buy her a brush of her own at that price, as it could get lost or "borrowed", never to be seen again.
The last time I brushed her hair with THAT brush, I succeeded in getting all the knots out in around 40 minutes. I thought that was a great result, at the time, with very few tears or complaints.
The You-Tube video of a little boy brushing his sister's hair with the Happy Hair Brush had me almost convinced. Then, a friend mentioned she had bought Happy Hair Brushes for her sensitive girls, so I thought I'd risk it.
Colour selection made. Daughter informed. Then the (not-very-long) wait for delivery.
I brushed her hair dry, dividing it into in 20 or more tiny sections the way I do when using the "good" brush; starting at the bottom third of each section, then moving to the middle third before attempting the top third - this is where the tears usually appear.
Seriously, there were NO tears! I was still being very cautious because of the new brush, but it was quicker. A LOT QUICKER.
