“I had originally purchased a purple HHB for my daughters (aged 4 and 7) after reading all the amazing reviews. However because they have quite thin hair, it was still hurting them to brush (it was however doing a better job than our last brush!). I had resigned myself to the fact that it will always be hard to brush their hair and that I needed to just use more product and never leave their hair out. After a few months I decided to contact Jen at HHB just to see if she had any tips. She kindly sent us a gold and blue brush to try. The gold brush was slightly better for them (great for me!), but the blue brush is the one that has changed our lives! The girls are now brushing their hair by themselves, and not whinging or crying when I try to brush it. I have even been letting them wear their hair out more on the weekends! Originally I purchased the purple "original" happy hair brush and although works amazing for my hair it still hurts my daughter's. Jen happily sent me the Sensory brush to trial for my daughter's and I am beyond happy not only with the brush but with the customer service and my daughter's LOVE getting their hair brushed now!

“My daughter and son both tried this brush out. My daughter doesn’t really have many issues with brushing her hair. She doesn’t like it, but does it any way so she doesn’t get dreadlocks like her middle brother. She said that it doesn’t even feel like it is brushing her hair.
My youngest son HATES having his hair brushed and would get tangled, knotty hair every time he slept. It was always a battle! He now loves brushing his hair himself and doesn’t mind me brushing it even if it is knotty.
The only down side is that I have found the smaller black bristles are falling out which is a bit disappointing, but it isn’t noticeable when looking at the brush but is has lost quite a bit in the first few brushes so I’m a little worried about how it will look after regular brushing for a while.”
“We tried with the golden hair brush first but my 7 year old daughter was still not very happy with it though it was the best till then . We tried the blue sensitive one afterwards for my daughters thick long hairs and within 2-3 days she fall in love with it . I said 2-3 days cause she is scared of brushing her knotty hairs . Now it’s a breeze every morning . She has started combing her hairs before school .
Earlier she used to have a bunch of knotty hairs just behind her neck and believe me it was so hard for me to detangle them . Every night I used to comb and plaid her hairs so that she could go to school without crying but nothing worked .
I am so glad and thankful to Jen for making mums lives easier . I am soon going to post a video of my daughter brushing her hair in a breeze .”
