“Elena and her family were excellent Housesitter's. We couldn't have been happier with the way they looked after our beagle. They took him everywhere with them and he was well loved and cared for. The house was also spotless and the garden well looked after. Would definitely recommend them and would happily use them again if they were here.”
“The list of things I ask of them wasn't long & they failed to do much of it. At times I would return home (part of the arrangement) to find my cat had been being fed dog food or vice versa. They both look similar but it was specifically pointed out to them which was which & was also included in the written instructions. The dog (a working sheep dog) was not exercised in accordance with my instructions and as a result is now over weight & unfit for work. My cat received little interaction other than at feeding times has been stressing and has lost a significant amount of weight. I would find water bowls low or empty on my return. Visitors called in while I was away knocked on the house door called out and the house sitters never came out of their caravan (10m from the house). Plants were under watered, stressed & 5 have died. Communication was poor & infrequent. They weren't interested in caring for my animals or property. They are simply looking for somewhere free to park their van, with access to free power & water while they travel do their lap of Australia. Very disappointing experience.”
“Hennette and Mike were absolutely wonderful. Our cat is very shy and doesn’t socialise easily, but Hennette and Mike made sure she was comfortable while we were away. They kept sending us lovely updates and pictures too. I couldn’t recommend them enough!”
