“Michael did the very basics of what was asked. But when we returned there was a whole lot of cleaning and washing to do. We do not think he is a dog lover for a number of reasons which I won’t list here, and he did not seem to have experience of looking after a home - but at least the house was secure and the dogs were alive and well, and if that’s all one expected, it was fine. I’d see him more as in the role of a security guard in a building, doing the basics of security, but not someone who moved in to keep the house from gathering dust and love our pets similarly to what we would.”
