“The Twice Baked that I picked up at HSS is sick!! I initially was looking at the 5'7" but with the 5'9" in stock, and holding it under the arm, it actually felt perfect. Dan Mann also mentions to not be afraid to go up in volume a tad with the TB). This has become my go to board and is so fun!! Paddles so easily into waves (you will definitely catch more waves with this!), and with the square thinned out tail, can turn it on a dime, even with the ample volume. I was surprised at the speed you get right from take off...stomp on the tail for a bottom turn, and it just squirts you forward through fast sections, and can even hold an edge in steeper sections. I paired it with the Dan Mann quads, and it has been working so perfectly - just the right combo for this board, as Dan da Mann and the HSS crew recommended. This board gets me so psyched to surf, even on small mushy days....just pure fun to still be able to generate all that speed. Mahalo to da HSS ohana...YOU DA BEST”
