This board surprised me...in a good way! I was skeptical at first due to the huge tail but this board is THE ultimate noserider. Everything they say about the lift you feel when you're on the nose is true, 100%. What I love about this board, though, is that unlike traditional logs with 50/50 rails, this board can actually turn easily. I've surfed the Sprout and used to own the original CJ Classic, both of which are traditional 50/50 logs, which are both great noseriders but unless you're used to riding those kinds of boards, they can be pretty one-dimensional. The Cherry Picker can do both noseride and turn like a 'normal' longboard. I use a 10in FCS II click fin or the 9.75 FCS II Thomas Surfboards fin.

If you're looking for the classic Hawaii performance race horse this isn't it. Board is meant to cruise and noseride, not meant to go fast. Take your time and you'll be happy. I use the 10" FCS Clique fin on it to avoid that extreme locked up feel that this noserider can get.
