“The clip ins are very ashy. I am a hairstylist for 30 years and I matched myself to a different color. But to make sure I sent in a picture of me and was matched to this one. I have light ash blonde roots and golden highlights. The clip ins are now very noticeable and make my hair look dirty. And it was not possible to see if they would match my own color because you can’t take them out of the package if you would like to return them. Also they were very shiny and hard to curl. And the ends are extremely thin. I watched several videos where hidden crown claims their extensions are thicker than others which I don’t find true.
But since I’m stuck with $300 clip ins now I’m going to try to match their color to mine with a bleach wash and a gold blonde toner. Wish me luck.”
“My clip ins came fast! The girl I sent a picture to matched my hair very good! It comes in great packaging and you get 2 samples that are close to your hair color!!! Great service! I got the short ones for volume. They work nice!!! They start to feel a little heavy on my scalp. They are simple to use!!! Maybe another time I’ll get the longer ones!!!”
“I feel like the color match is very good. I am having issues with them not showing. I purchased the clip ins and next time I will try the hidden crown. I thought I could pull my hair back but they show and when I wear them down my short hair sticks out underneath and its too short to clip back. I need to work with them more.”
“I bought these clips ins, and the second time that I went to use them, one of the clips broke. I was told by customer service that they would send me a new weft once I went to the post office, and returned the other weft via certified mail. Within a week, the weft with three clips fell apart completely; I was pretty disappointed. I chose Hidden Crown over other brands because they claimed to be "quality." I have had Bellami extensions last up to a 6 months, Luxy hair extensions lasted me four months. I've tried every type of hair extension and these didn't even last a week. While the quality of the hair is nice, the colors do not match up to the picture. This color is not ash blonde; it has very warm undertones, so it will not match your hair if you have cooler blonde undertones I bought the clips after being disappointed with my crown (the wire came that allows the crown to function was shipped to me completely messed up; I couldn't wear to the event that I bought them for; customer service instructed me to watch a 12 minute video on how to rewire the crown with pliers which turned into a 2 hour ordeal.) TLDR: while the quality of the hair is nice, the colors don't match and the quality of the actual hardware on the clips is deplorable. Hair extensions are supposed to be easy, these are extremely difficult to use. Really the opposite of what Hidden Crown advertises.”
