“I naturally have level 5 dark ash brown hair base with level 8 highlights. So I purchased the 822 topper and extensions since it said dark ash blonde and the photo appears to have darker ash brown level 6 or 7 with blonde highlights level 9. I have always had issues with anything I purchase having a chestnut brown coloring which does not match my base hair color. I find dark brown ash is difficult to find. I received them both and found the highlights to be a pretty beige blonde level 9 or 10 with a 7 or 8 dark blonde highlights. The dark brown in the photo is not brown at all - its really a slightly darker blonde. So know that before purchasing. Its a gorgeous color, it just didn&t match my base color. I really wanted to keep the topper but since it had that chestnut brown coloring, the base of the topper (sheer part that lays on head and looks like your scalp) was more brown instead of ash colored brown. So the topper base didn&t look like it would blend well. We had to guess since you cannot try them on. So my hairdresser and I were apprehensive on coloring it since we really couldn&t change the base color. So I returned the topper and kept the extensions. I plan to tone them to my hair color. I have owned many extensions-cheaper ones and expensive ones. As far as quality, i feel both the hidden crown topper and extensions were a great quality. The hair doesn&t pull or fall out and again, it is a beautiful color. If I could order samples of their hair colors, i think i would have been more successful in a match. However, I still cannot see a true dark ash brown hair color in any of their product photos for those looking for that particular color. I hope this will help anyone looking to buy.”
