“So I have naturally thin hair, but after having a baby this year my hair got much thinner due to postpartum hair loss. I have owned pretty much every brand of clip ins under the sun and have had tape-ins in the past, always opting for 22 grams of hair because I love feeling like a mermaid. So when I heard about hidden crown from one of my favorite youtubers this year, I could not WAIT to try the 22g layered extensions! I've been too scared to put in my clip ins during this postpartum hair loss phase, I didn't want any extra weight on my fragile hair. I bought the 22g layers in 1B deepest brown and could not wait for them to arrive.
Unfortunately for me, these do not mix with my hair at all. I think 22 grams of hair is too much hair to have hanging from the same string. As soon as I fitted them to my head, I could not believe the size of the lump you could see around the crown of my skull from all the hair. I've watched at least 50 youtube videos trying to learn how to blend them with my hair, but unfortunately nothing looks natural so far. REALLY disappointed. You can see the bump in my hair from a mile away. The 22 layers would work for someone who already has natural think beautiful hair, but usually those girls don't need an extra 22 grams of hair.... It should have occurred to me that the reason 22 grams of clip-ins work for me is because they can be evenly distributed around my skull, which helps them blend easily. That's my fault I guess. I understand the return policy exists for sanitary reasons, but there's $400 dollars ill never see again (and that's with a $100 discount).
The hair IS high quality and beautiful. But now I can't afford a crown that works better for hair type. Super upset.”

“This is the best investment I have ever made. When I first became familiar with the hair extension world, I bought clip ins from another brand in 2015. I wore them for about a year until I got sick of how heavy they were and how time consuming they were to put in (I wore 220gm) I then decided to get tape ins — worst mistake of my life. I wore those for about a year and some change, they completely ruined my hair and I am now in the process of letting it heal. Finally I came across hidden crown, and OH MY GOD what a god send. It’s so easy to put in, and it looks more natural than any hair extension I’ve tried. I ordered 1b, brought them to my hair dresser and she color matched my hair perfectly.
