“Hair is damaged. Sent back and got another damaged hair. Told it was static. It is not. Hair is broken throughout. Ends frayed. Took to salon and they couldn’t believe how bad it looked. Looks like it had been used many times and styled . Picture doesn’t even show half the damage”
“I ordered the 22" layered halo and the matching topper to replace the halo and "The Fall" topper I had from Halo Couture. I had the Halo Couture ones for over a year and I loved them, but I recently dyed my hair back dark and so the blonde halos no longer matched. I did a lot of research comparing the two brands, and I decided Hidden Crown was worth a shot. I was very excited, but when I received them and took them out of the packaging, I was very disappointed. The topper seems very thick on top, and the edge of it shows in the front when you clip it on to your head. The halo itself is extremely thin on the ends. My natural hair is very thick and comes to my shoulder blades, and when I put on the halo, it was SO obvious that they were extensions because of how straggly they looked on the ends. This was probably the most disappointing part, since I read that they were "double drawn" and had thick ends. Lastly, I tried to curl the extensions in hopes it would blend better with my hair... unfortunately, the hair is so silky, it wouldn't hardly stay in the curling iron OR hold a curl. Not to mention that I only had my curling iron on 300 degrees and stands of hair appeared to be melting onto the iron -- this is what SYNTHETIC hair does. It is said to be 100% Human hair, but it sure doesn't appear to be; maybe partially human hair. It looks and feels like barbie hair. Overall, it was just extremely disappointing. I literally listed them on eBay the very next day in hopes of getting SOME of my money back, since there is no returns at Hidden Crown for extensions that have been removed from the packaging (which is also very frustrating, considering how extremely expensive they are and that you can't tell if they blend with your hair without putting them on.) I would definitely say it was a poor experience and an absolute waste of over $900.”
“I was really expecting more for the price. I paid 250 for a very thin string of hair. It’s not bad, but reasonably worth no more than 100. Bellamy hair has twice the amount of hair for almost half the price”
“It looked beautiful, felt great and was so easy to put on. However, later in the evening, a friend was hugging me goodbye and she pulled a little on the crown and it broke.”
