“My experience with hidden crown has been one of the worst I have ever had with any company. I sent in photos of my natural hair color to have a match with the halo extensions. I ordered the color that was suggested by the match "expert". In the pictures it looked like it would match my hair fairly well. When the $334.00 halo extensions arrived I was absolutely shocked at the lack of match with my hair and at how different they looked from the pictures on the website. They were the most horrible brassy bright yellow color imaginable. The color was ridiculous! NO ONE wears their hair this color unless they are in some kind of stage performance.
I am a first time halo extension buyer and not at all a hair professional. When the box came from hidden crown I opened it and took out the extensions. I held them up next to my head and basically started crying. I could not believe what a terrible and expensive mistake was made by hidden crown. I contacted hidden crown immediately to let them know what happened. The representative told me that I could sent the bad extensions back as long as I had not removed them from the box. I replied that I had removed the extensions from the box in order to hold them up next to my head and that I had not put them on my head in any way. Hidden crown replied that they would not take the extensions back and would not refund my money or send me a better matching set. The rep stated that there was a message in the packaging says that if you remove the extensions from the box they will not be taken back for exchange/return. I did not see that message when I was originally opening the extensions.
Hidden crown wrote me that I could try changing my own hair color to match the extensions (are you f-ing kidding me?), take them to a hair care professional to have them re-colored (again...are you kidding me?), or try washing them with blue shampoo to try to get rid of the brassiness.
I am stuck with $334 halo extensions from a company that does not care about their costumers and does not stand behind their product. STEER CLEAR of this company and their terrible customer service!!!!”
