“My crown arrived promptly as ordered. I was very disappointed to find that, despite unchecking the hair insurance box, the $50+ fee has still been added to my order. Even though I used the color match service my crown was completely the wrong color. This was very disappointing as I’d paid extra for rush service to get it for a specific occasion and was unable to do so. What makes it worse is that I still haven’t received a reply to my email requesting information on how to exchange it! I really wanted this to work, but it’s not looking like it will be a fit for me.”
“The quality of the hair is very good. I got the Hidden Crown Daydream and the texture and appearance is so consistent with real hair. I don’t love the match, though. I had my hair matched via the website and then my stylist lightened my own hair more. After a few weeks/washes, my hair doesn’t match the ashy tone of the halo AT ALL and to keep up with it would cause severe damage to my own hair from constant coloring. I haven’t been able to wear my halo for weeks due to match. When I get my hair colored again, I can wear it for a few weeks but the halo will quickly look too ashy as my hair can’t hold that tone for that long. Quality hair but huge disappointment that I can only wear a few weeks at a time to prevent from way over-coloring my hair. They recommended going lighter if you are between colors but for me, I can’t keep up with the lighter tone without major overprocessing. My gut told me the color was too light but I kept reading their recommendation to go lighter when between two colors. My halo has been hanging in the closet for 4 weeks until I can relighten my own hair to match, and even that is just a close match, not exact. If you can’t frequently color your hair to maintain the match, be cautious with your color choice!”
