“I have signed up to be a distributor in my salon with the Hidden Crown extensions. I have had a couple of my clients purchased them around December/January. I thought, with their happiness of the product I would purchase some for me as well. My clients and myself included have loved having them. However, up until about last month. The hair in the back of the halo has been tangling so bad it almost unmanageable. As a stylist for 10+ years, I feel like I know how to educate and how to teach clients to take care of their extensions as they are not real hair and do not need to be washed, brushed, etc everyday like your normal hair on your head. I, myself, have now had to sew clip-ins I luckily had laying around my house to compensate the hair that has fallen out due to the tangling. It is so bad to the point where I do not even feel confident wearing and or selling them anymore. Every single day I come home it looks as if the back of my head has been in actual war fare. Its embarrassing and bluntly obvious that these extensions are not holding up as well as they are marketed to. Even with my discount, I do not feel that $130+ hair should be shedding, tangling, falling out in excess as much as these do. I made the switch from clip-ins to halo's for less damage on my hair. At this point, I am so frustrated with the maintenance that these are requiring, I do not know if I can continue to sell them and or purchase another for myself. Another thing, is when I match my clients PERFECTLY with the swatches in MULTIPLE light settings, once the extensions come in they do no match AT ALL. Like as in to the point, its making me look like an idiot in front of my clients. For example. I only highlighted my sisters hair. No lowlights, no base color, just a simple highlight. We matched her swatch inside her home with florescent lighting, we then matched it outside in natural lighting, and once more in her bathroom with high definition light bulbs. I knew once the extensions got here there was no way we would have to alter her color to blend with the extensions. It was almost comical once the hair got here. The swatches that are supposed to be one level lighter and one level darker were BOTH a level 6 or lower. I ordered a 613 which is platinum blonde. Please tell me WHY two medium brown swatches came to her in order for us to compare.. Also, Once we held the extensions up to her head I was LIVID. The level 6N lowlights were over done in these extensions, to the point where I had to completely REFOIL her entire head. I was then out product and time for trying to fix the mistake on Hidden Crowns end. I have also ordered another blonde with lowlights and I kid you not when I say that these extensions were PINK. The title was Ash Blonde with Ash lowlights. How in the heck is a rose gold anywhere NEAR ash. I hope you all fix these issues soon and I would love to continue to sell these extensions, but as of now; I do not feel confident doing so. “Really like these extensions! First time I ordered I got the daydream 18" after sending in a picture of my hair and the color they sent me looked like a strawberry blonde. I sent back because the color did not match AT ALL and the daydream 18" seemed way too long and thin. If you are looking for thickness DO NOT get the daydream. I dont like that Hiddencrown wont refund you the shipping charges as the customer pays for this both ways, that seems like a rip-off (makes me wonder if they sent a color that was not a match purposfully.) Service aside, I love the 16in. Hiddencrown! It looks BEAUTIFUL and so realistic and the color I got matches perfectly! I was going for natural and I think the length is long enough where it doesnt look fake! Only down side is that after wearing it all day it leaves an indent in your scalp that can he uncomfortable. Make sure in the beginning you adjust/readjust as much as possible for the best fit before cutting the string. After awile it will fit great! Great product and easy enough for everyday wear...”
“It took me 2 tries to get the right color and it fit better on me than I thought it would. I got the 16” halo demy crown and it was a lot longer than I thought it would be on me ! But curling it helped it look more normal. I haven’t gotten the courage to wear it out, yet, since it’ll be dramatically different than my thin shoulder-length hair now.”
