“This hair is amazing, soft, super easy to style , wash, and brush. I ended up exchanging for the next colour, which was a perfect match to my hair. The fitting was easy as there are numerous videos to follow. I purchased the 18” Hidden Crown Halo and I must admit that it’s super thick and somewhat heavy and hot. Very luxurious but not really an every day casual look. Next set I’m getting the daydream halo or the crown extension. Love this hair and I would highly recommend this brand to my friends.”
“My hair has been rapidly thinning for many years but I hesitated to buy a Hidden Crown (mostly because I wasn't certain my natural hair was thick enough to sufficiently hide/cover the extensions. For reference, my hair is SO thin, my ponytails are less than a pinky in diameter). I was wrong. Why did I wait so long???!! This product is AMAZING!! The attached picture was taken immediately after I took the Hidden Crown out of the package and fit it to my head (which took about 5 minutes total). I could not believe how perfect the color matched and how well the extensions blended with my natural hair. I am almost 40 years old but, with these extensions, felt like a younger version of myself with newfound confidence. I have flat-ironed and curled it multiple times and it only looks better and more natural. So impressed.
Note:
I asked my stylist to pick the color. She chose #812 just based on the pictures. The Hidden Crown came with 2 hair swatches/samples - neither were the color I chose. A quick email to customer service revealed the colors were 1 shade lighter/darker than what I ordered. You are not allowed to return if the extensions are taken out of the packaging, so it would've been very helpful to also have a swatch of the color chosen. I was lucky, in my case the color was PERFECT but I was definitely hesitant since I didn't have a swatch of my actual color.”
“This is my second purchase, here’s my thoughts.
Pros:
they’re comfortable and I love that they cause zero damage to my own hair
They’re very well made. My last set is a year old and the stitching is holding up. The stitching on my new set is also very secure.
They style easily on low heat. I would recommend starting with a low setting and working up slowly. The styling has been consistent with my old and new extensions.
My order arrived quickly both times with standard shipping to NC.
Cons:
These aren’t 100% human remy hair. Maybe 98%. In both the old and new set, even on low heat setting, some dark hairs shrivel and burn completely off. I compared hairs under a microscope some of the dark hairs appear to be synthetic. I emailed the company after purchasing my first pair following the burnt hairs and I received a n extremely rude response from “Bonnie”. In addition to the rude reply, I was told that I was going to be contacted and it’s been a year with zero response. QC needs to step it up.
The tone is different. I bought the exact same color (812) but one was the 14in and the other is 18in. There is a noticeable difference in both tone and color. My 18in is darker and ashier. This is a happy accident because it matches my natural hair better than the first, but be aware that the color can vary significantly. I’ve purchased hair from other companies who have been able to maintain consistency in tone between orders.
This company deletes negative reviews on several platforms.
All in all, I love my extensions and I’d recommend them. I have issues with the quality of the company and the way they respond to complaints, and I hope that in the future instead of deleting negative reviews or completely blaming the customers, listen and make the product better.”
“I placed three orders based on recommendations from your experts and the color was completely so far off. I have spent so much money shipping and returning based on your recommendations. I wanted to purchase a halo and crown topper from you, but after 3 failed colors and a defective product, I think that I need to look elsewhere. I am frustrated that you aren't willing to refund all of my shipping costs from your end - I'm not asking you to refund the ones that I had to pay to return to you, but would think that you would refund the ones that I had to pay charged at your end, because I followed your expert recommendations. My stylist told me that the colors you recommended are even close to my hair color. The last product you sent me was defective, and you still don't refund my shipping costs. I really was impressed by your company at the beginning of this process, but I am very sad to see that you don't stand behind your expertise.”
“This is my second Hidden Crown Purchase. Purchased the clip-ins in the same color first. Love them, but they do pull the hair a bit, so thought I'd try the halo. Color still great but because my head is big the extensions don't come around as far as they should to the front. Didn't even think of this as a possible issue. Still works, super easy to use and wear, just not quite the look i was hoping for. Who knew we needed sizing for extensions!”

“The color blends well and looks natural. However, the band is fairly uncomfortable and itches, which makes it too uncomfortable to wear daily as I had wanted. The band (where the hair connects to the wire) is also too far forward for thin hair so that even if I put the crown on fairly low and as far back as possible, there is not enough natural hair to cover that start of the crown. This makes it too likely it will be noticed, and uncomfortable to wear.”
