“Unfortunately, I had to return my balayage Halo extension. I sent a picture for a color match and the balayage color wasn’t close to my color. Since you can’t open the package for sanitary purposes (great practice), it was hard to tell if the darkest part matched my hair. It looked close, but even if it had been a perfect match (both colors) the length dedicated to the balayage color is not something I would prefer. I know many people that have been very happy with Halo Extensions from Hidden Crown though. It just didn’t work for me.
It would have been great to feel the actual hair and I could have seen enough of the darker color for comparison, but you can’t return the product if you open the package. I would have considered exchanging it for a non-balayage Halo extension and working with my hairdresser for the perfect match.”

“I did the color match on the website. It came out more strawberry blonde and doesn’t match my hair as well. I thought I would be able to make it work and that it would blend more once opened and styled with my hair. I was wrong. You can see the strawberry blonde more. The picture of the hair on the website does not look strawberry blonde at all. I got the “layers” halo extensions but there are not much layers at all. Very few layers that it just blends with the longer hair.”
“I have been ordering extensions from Hidden Crown in the color 622 for a while now. I recently decided to try the 622 balayage so the root would match my natural root more seamlessly. When I received the extensions they were way too dark. The look nothing like the picture shown on the website or the 622 extensions I have ordered in the past. I informed hidden crown and they sent new extensions, ensuring that they would be correct this time. They were just as dark. So now I’m out $400 and have to packs of extensions that do not match my hair at all.”
“If you’re buying based off just the color in the photos, don’t.... the color is way off and red and a pink hue... the tester was the correct color but the actual hair was very different.”
