Excellent course for operators and site personnel new to the COMAH 2015 Regulations and as periodic refresher training.

This course, in page 12 of the first module, states that it focuses on the responsibilities of lower tier establishments. While I still think it provides much wider coverage, I am confused by that statement. I am of the opinion that the Grain LNG terminal is an upper tier COMAH site. So, I wonder if there has been a mix up, or have I misunderstood the statement about the course's focus. Thanks and Regards

Hi Nnamdi, thank you for your review and feedback! On module 1 slide 12 we list the responsibilities of both lower and upper tier establishments under the COMAH Regulations. Upper tiers have the same responsibilities as lower, as well as some additional ones specific only to them. Throughout the course we go into detail about the responsibilities of lower tier establishments. While these do also apply to upper tier establishments (as we state on slide 12), we do not expand much on the additional responsibilities of upper tier establishments. As we say, these include to prepare a safety report and prepare and test an on-site emergency plan, which are both going to be dependent on the individual workplace. The course will still be useful for you (if your company is an upper tier COMAH site) as an awareness of COMAH, but you may require supplementary information on upper tier establishments if a greater level of understanding is needed. Our content team will take your feedback on this on board and will consider it when they next review the course! I hope this helps, but if you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch at support@highspeedtraining.co.uk! Kind regards, Kaz (Customer Support, High Speed Training)

The course is good, but should have been tailored for an upper tier COMAH site
