Awarding a top performing staff member with a 3, when the transcript indicates a 4, lost me a point, seems very unfair.

The training was extremely helpful in identifying the need of pre appraisal preparation, also giving clear understanding of goal and target setting, and gives good support on appraising all employees who might be on either end of the scale from 1 to 5.
