“I feel this course was misleading, I assumed a course revolving around PAT Testing would explain HOW to PAT test. Instead the course revolved around general knowledge of PAT testing with no information or examples on how to actually carry out a PAT Test. The first three sections were barely relevant, instead revolving around risk assessments and visual inspections which I already understand. Although this course may be useful in explaining the basics of electrical safety and visual inspections to a general workforce it does nothing to build on that. Ultimately this course seems to be lacking the most vital information on PAT Testing: What a PAT test actually is and how to undertake one. I would not recommend this course for anything more than a brief overview of the concept of PAT testing.”

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it. Our online awareness course is designed for awareness and is to be used in conjunction with the PAT tester you choose to purchase/use. Sadly, as each PAT tester is designed to be used in different ways using the manufacturer's instructions, it would not be possible for us to write our course to cover these varying methods.
