Some interesting aspects but also some very common sense stuff too. However, it does inform you well on different aspects and effects of unconscious bias.

You need much more diverse photos of employees in the slides. They are all young and 'attractive'!

In your definition of Gender bias (section 1, slide 14) you say 'gender bias is the subconscious preference of one sex over another'. I think this confuses biological sex and gender and ignores bias relating to people who are non-binary. I also think that the training sidestepped race, which is probably the most important area for improvement in workplace diversity. The training focuses on how unconscious bias effects hiring and promotion decisions but it is also important to consider how it impacts decisions about how we design our products and services and behave towards our customers and suppliers. I think the training would benefit from covering this too.

Hello Liz, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review and feedback we really appreciate it. I passed your comments onto our content team. They have come back to me and they agree that the definition of gender bias is confusing. They would like me to thank you and they will arrange for this to be changed so it states that 'Gender bias is a subconscious preference for one gender over the other.' They will also keep your other feedback into consideration for future versions of the course. Congratulations and should you need anything in the future, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. All the best, Nicola (Customer Support, High Speed Training)
