Q7 states PPE has been pierced but does not mention injury , therefore i believe it is only necessary to change the gloves not report it and invoke the needle/injury procedures

Hello Neil, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and your feedback, we really appreciate it. I have had a chat with our content team. They have had a look through the course and they think possibly you may have misread the question. There's a couple of questions about changing gloves. One asks 'If you receive a sharps injury that pierces your PPE, what should you do?' with the correct answer being 'Immediately follow appropriate infection control and needles and sharps procedures to reduce the risks of infection.' because they have an injury. The other one asks 'What should you do if you identify a fault in your disposable gloves but you have not received an injury?' with an answer of 'Stop using them immediately and use the correct procedures to dispose of and change them'. These are both correct and I believe you felt they should be correct too. I hope one of these questions is the question you are referring to however if not please contact us directly with the question and I will be happy to go back to my colleagues. I hope that the knowledge you gained will help you in the future and if you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. Many thanks! Nicola (Customer Support, High Speed Training)
