The First Aid at Work (FAW) Refresher course is a very in-depth course and covers a lot of necessary topics to ensure that the learner can recognise emergency situations, treat conditions and reactions and ensure that they can take appropriate action at the time of an incident. The course can be spread out over several sessions, and doesn’t have to be completed in one go which may help in terms of the length of the course! “Certainly a full and comprehensive course and content. The option to download information posters is a particular good idea for clubs to display. A lot of slides to work through, so I would say taking notes is a must for the many headings covered to assist in taking the final assessment. I feel a lot more competent now in what my actions should be as a First Aider.”

“to long and easy to loose concentration nowhere near as good as a practical lesson this is just basically read answer and forget if you actually do things practically they will sink in and stick in your mind”
