I feel the slides sometimes came in too slow and so mind wandered while waiting for next paragraph to appear. I also didn't appreciate one comment under indirect discrimination about how requiring travel abroad at short notice may put women with young children at a disadvantage, surely that should read parents with young children at a disadvantage??

Hello Alison, thank you for your review, and congratulations on completing your training! There is an option whilst taking the courses to speed up the slides, to do this you would just need to press on the cog symbol in the bottom right corner of the page and you will then have the option to change the speed, this may be helpful if you decide you would like to take any other courses with us in the future. Regarding your comment about the indirect discrimination, I will pass this onto out Content Team who write all of our courses for them to be able to look into this to see if there is anything they can change within the course. If there is anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to contact us directly! Kind regards, Natasha (Customer Support, High Speed Training.

For a set of training about acceptable language and behavior, the language used in the sexual orientation and gender reassignment is extremely outdated to the point of offence. "A man who choses to live as a woman" can be described as a trans woman. The word transsexual is outdated and considered offensive, the preferred term is transgender. "Orientation towards the same sex, the opposite sex, or either sex" implies that there are only 2 sexes (ignoring intersex people) and that sex and gender are the same thing (which they are not) and further that there are only 2 genders (which there are not!). A more helpful definition would be "attraction to 1 or more genders", but I suggest you do your own research. Furthermore, "Women and men should have equal opportunities" also implies the (incorrect) case that there are only 2 genders. "Travel on short notice could put women with young children at a disadvantage" disregards any fathers with young children. The training all makes sense, it just seems an update of language and phrasing is needed to stop any offense.

Hello Isabel, thank you for your review! I'm really sorry that you felt the language of this course was outdated and offensive, that is definitely not what we intended. I have passed on your comments to our Content Team and they have informed me that this course is on the list as one that needs updating soon and it will be updated to reflect more modern language use. We do appreciate all kinds of customer feedback so thank you very much for raising this to us. If there is anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. Kindest regards, Natasha (Customer Support, High Speed Training).
