“As an experienced HR professional looking to see if this product was suitable to roll out to our staff I found the session lacking. The topic focused on equality with no mention of how diversity is different to equality and why we should be embracing it. Some of the questions also have the potential to reinforce misunderstanding, for example: Q: What is most likely to cause a problem for someone with a disability? A: Regular long distance travel. I'm sure this is just an error but unhelpful none the less (Do I need to spell it out that many disabilities will have no impact on someones ability to regularly travel long distances).”

“I feel the slides sometimes came in too slow and so mind wandered while waiting for next paragraph to appear. I also didn't appreciate one comment under indirect discrimination about how requiring travel abroad at short notice may put women with young children at a disadvantage, surely that should read parents with young children at a disadvantage??”

Hello Alison, thank you for your review, and congratulations on completing your training! There is an option whilst taking the courses to speed up the slides, to do this you would just need to press on the cog symbol in the bottom right corner of the page and you will then have the option to change the speed, this may be helpful if you decide you would like to take any other courses with us in the future. Regarding your comment about the indirect discrimination, I will pass this onto out Content Team who write all of our courses for them to be able to look into this to see if there is anything they can change within the course.
