“Whilst I found much of this useful, there were a huge amount of abbreviations and jargon. Whilst this might be helpful in a setting such as a school who may be used to such language, I found myself frequently having to go back and check my understanding of words, phrases and language. I felt it was rather long and repetitive. I think more case studies would have been valuable. a single video with information from an expert would have been better at the beginning. I am sure I could’ve accessed most of the information less time. I felt some of the information was irrelevant because this course is designed for someone who is not in a lead position. As a result, I found myself having to learn about things which did not impact on my role and was confused to be tested on those.”

We do however offer a Designated Safeguarding Lead training course which is suitable for someone who requires training in a Safeguarding Lead role.
