I will have a look into this for you as I can imagine this was very frustrating when you were trying to do the course. I do hope you enjoyed the course content and if you do have any further feedback, please don't hesitate to contact me on 'support@highspeedtraining.co.uk'. Manual handling is the basic course everyone has to do. its a no brainer but i think thats why these types of courses try and trip you up with the questions at the end rather than just allowing you to get back to work by having more than 1 'correct' or acceptable answer. For example - the question about team lifting and what is vital - well of the 4 options 2 are vital (correct PPE like steel toe cap boots and 'having good co-ordination') - obviously i clicked having PPE is vital because, well, it is. The correct answer though was 'make sure everyone has good co-ordination'! 2 acceptable answers but this test has to try and make you select the obvious ppe choice so it can justify its existence. How do you check that everyone has good co-ordination by the way? as in how do you actually quantify that? Another 'trick' question was What should you ensure when PPE is issued? I clicked 'that it should be worn at all times' because again, it should be. When you are on building sites you can get sacked if you take it off. Well guess what! its wrong! the correct answer was that you should keep it well maintained and 'repair' it when required. i excluded this as an option when answering because you should definitely NOT attempt to repair your PPE if its damaged. Absolutely stupid. But i understand that you need to try and trip people up with something so ridiculously based in common sense in order to justify your job.
