“Finding a high quality, brand new ceramic plate isn't easy. The Guardian 3S9 is possibly the best and most readily available choice. After much research I just couldn't come to believe the steel or polyurethane plates were better. Additionally, the LVL3 seems to be the way to go, being tested for multiple hits against M80 is more than strong enough. And based on the testing on YouTube, it seems to be better than advertised!”
“I've have been researching many different lvl 3 rifle plates for a while now and I have to say, that I am very happy with my purchase of the Guardian 3S9. Of the dozen or so similar lvl 3 plates I looked at from multiple manufactures, the 3S9 was the only one that had DEA compliance. Each 10x12 plate, which is what I bought, came in at 5.3 lbs. They are very lightweight when compared to other plates I have worn like steel plates (9 lbs), SAPIs, and ESAPIs (coming in around 7.5 lbs). These plates will fit the SKD PIG plate carrier. Furthermore, Highcom Security's customer service is exceptional, going above and beyond to help out customers. If you're not happy with your order; whether it be the wrong plate size, wrong cut, maybe you think the plate was compromised during shipping, or just want a different plate, they are more than happy to help you get the plate you want.
