“Before I placed my order, I called into customer service to ask them a barrage of questions. There was not a single time that the customer service representative hesistated to even think of the answer. These guys know their stuff, and clearly have the customer's best interest in mind.
Example: I asked my representative if I should get two multiple curve level IV plates, one for front and back. He replied that while it is all up to user preference, if it were his money, he would go for one single curve for the back and one multicurve for the front, simply because it could save $20. Also made a valid point that those $20 could be used elsewhere to further training and be put to better use. He also reiterated that if at any point at all that I felt that my plates may have been compromised, to give him a call and that they'll take care of it to get me new plates that I can have confidence in.
So to sum up: Customer service pointed me to their cheaper option in my best interest and offered an unheard of guarantee. As for the plates themselves, they're not very heavy. They weigh around what my Level III ESAPIs weighed, by feel. I think that they're actually right around 7.25 lbs per plate. Not bad considering it has been shown stopping multiple rounds of 30-06 even though it only needed to stop one round of 30-06 AP to meet the NIJ rating. I have 100% confidence not only in the customer service that I recieved and the product itself, but I also have 100% confidence that I will definitely buy more products from highcom security in the future. Companies like this are few and far in between, so I'm going to do what I can to keep them in business!”
“I purchased the Guardian 4SAS7 plates for my GG Minimalist Plate Carrier (PC). The plates are solid and well made. I have no problems trusting these plates to do what they were intended to do, and that's stop .30 rifle ammo. The packing and shipping was fast and secure and the finish of the plates is great.
