“To start off, I'm not Mil/LE, just a regular gun and shooting enthusiast. I like to attend shooting classes whenever I get a chance and I just wanted to add some armor to the mix. I upgraded from 10x12 single curves to Highcom's 10x12 multicurve. And let me say... These things are night and day difference in comfortability over the single curves! I tested them as soon as I opened them and got them out. Wore them around the house for hours just see what I thought. Didn't even realize I was wearing them besides the weight of armor. Since they hugged my body a lot better, the weight felt a little lighter due to them riding in a better manner. As far as performance against rifle rounds, couldn't tell ya, but their reputation seems very very high so I trust them. Made in the US, boxed tightly and securely, and came with a free t-shirt all for a very respectable price compared to other companies. Going to look into getting side plates now! Very impressed!!”
“Possibly the best value for stand alone Level IV plates. I saw a few videos showing these plates withstand multiple hits from a variety of ammo and they seem thinner and lighter than the SAPI and ESAPI plates I have been issued.”
“One plate was purchased for testing and the plate performed very well. It was shot with multiple rounds of M193, 7.62X39 and .40 S&W. All rounds were stopped with little to no backface deformation. In one case our aim was off and the 7.62 struck the edge fo the plate. The plate still stopped the 7.62.”
“The 4SAS7 plates are well made. The Multi Curve plate fits perfectly up front and the Single Curve fits nicely on the back. The weight of these plates are more comfortable than steel plates and much more easy to maneuver in. I HIGHLY recommend this kit for anyone looking for quality level IV plates.”
