Just looking at how much care and attention to detail they put into packaging was impressive. Small things like that are important when you have to trust your gear when you put it on. The plates themselves had outstanding fit and finish and seemed to incorporate a level of shock absorbing pads. Usually that's something I've done on my own just to protect plates a bit more. The triple curve cut fit well and seemed to be a bit "curvier" in the places that count.
