“I've been researching level III and IV plates recently for an active shooter response vest I'm putting together. There's a lot of good plates out there but what focused my attention on HighCom were the good reviews on their customer service, as well as their products. Also there's a video where a small P.D. shot up one of their plates, I think it was the 4SAS-7, with some rounds beyond what the level IV is rated for and it came out looking pretty good. Anyway, I called HighCom and spoke with Mike, who was very professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. Later that night I ordered two of the 4SAS-7 plates and was notified by e-mail the next morning they were on their way.
As luck would have it, Mr. Murphy had to stick his nose in things and the plates somehow were sent to the wrong address. I notified Mike and he said he would get it sorted out and even offered to send me another set overnight if they didn't arrive shortly. I told him that wouldn't be necessary but I appreciated the offer.
Well, Murphy was still active and the plates hadn't arrived for a few more days so I called Mike again. He said he would have another set shipped overnight, and I had them in hand the following day by noon. Getting them the next day really wasn't all that important to me, but it sure seemed like it was to Mike, and I wasn't going to try and tell him how to run his business. I called Mike to tell him I had received the plates and was very pleased with them, and I would call”
