“I ordered the 10x12 Shooters Cut after looking at every option I could. I found that the AR1000 armor offered the best protection for the price and the weight. Weight was important to me and these plates came in at 5.9 lbs each which is lighter than the 7.2 lb Guardian 4SAS7. You sacrifice some protection from a level IV plate but the threats this plate protects against are the more common ones you may come across in dealing with the general public.”
