“I recently ordered a 15"X10" plate to insert into my everyday backpack. It was a pretty tight fit because I measured to the seams of the pocket. Be sure to allow at least an 1/8" allowance on either end when measuring.
Other than that the product seems quality. I only gave 4 stars, simply because it hasn't been shot. Thankfully. Should the need actually arise that it stopped a handgun round, I'll be sure to update it to 5 stars, believe me!
Also, the outer finish is quite rough, kinda like non-skid. So if the pocket your wanting to slide it in is tight, or a material that can snag, it will take a little manipulation. But, once in, it will stay put!
I'm considering ordering more for my kid's backpacks, as well as my wife's laptop bag. The extra weight and bulk is almost unnoticed, so I'm sure they all could easily carry!
