“Easy to install, nice looking, bike sits clean away from the wall (but not too far) with both gravel bike and road bike.
Drywall?: not ideal, was thinking of backing plate, but in the end put one side into the stud and the other (for now) into plasterboard. The stud side is solid but obviously the plasterboard sides not really doing anything other than keeping things level.
Would be good if Hiplok made an adapter plate that gave the non stud side of the base something to get into.”
“It's a solid product I doubt that thieves will try and break it physically. I think they might try to break the lock if they find that the bicycle is so much worth it. The only downside during installation is the that the required concrete bit is 15 millimeters and that is not a standard one, if you change it to 14 or 16 that will be way easier.”
