“My main gripe is that while it is undoubtedly tough, it's not big enough to go round my bike's frame plus any street furniture I might want to lock it to such as a lamp-post. If I can't lock it *to* something then I'd like to run the lock through the rear wheel and around the seat tube, but again, not big enough. It's a great, durable shackle lock, that's nearly useless for locking up a big expensive e-bike.”

“I've had my D1000 for a couple of months now. I don't use it every time I park my bike but it sure is nice to use when I want some extra security (in addition to my other locks). I use it with my cargobike, which does not have a lot of frame space where I can slip the lock through, so it is sometimes a bit tricky but the more I'm using it, the more I'm figuring out some angles for using it and the fact that it has a small space inside the lock is good, as I'm sure it makes it more difficult to tamper with.
It's an investment but totally worth it if you have an expensive bike.”
