The packaging was excellent. I was concerned that it may get broken in transit but it was well padded. The box would have stood up to quite a bit of abuse & the contents likely still would have been fine.
I was happy with the weight of the glasses & decanter. They're not cheap, thin glass that will break easily, especially the decanter, which had the heft of fine crystal.
The only things which made this a 4 rather than 5 star rating were the etchings & the Army logo. The etching on the glasses I felt could have been more sharp. Maybe it was the font option I chose but I think it could have been more clear. And the Army logo stuck to the decanter was loose when I took it out of the packaging. Maybe it could have been applied better before shipping or maybe a different adhesive could have been used. I held it in place for a bit & it seemed to stick more fully to it. I then laid it face down on some padding for several hours to help affix it better.
Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase & he was very impressed to receive it. Thanks!”
