“I really like Hoselink products because they are so well engineered and strong, except for this poor implementation of an automatic watering station for pets. The little plastic clips that hold the float cover onto the bowl are very weak. That would not be a problem except that the float cover also secures the hose to the bowl. A previous reviewer suggested that you could fix this problem with a cable tie but this would also require you to slightly modify the bowl. I would also like to caution all previous reviewers that suggest that you can set and forget. There are many reasons the bowl may not automatically refill with water and your pets could suffer if you do not regularly check that the Auto-fill Pet Water Bowl is functioning correctly.”
