“Had no problem assembling the hose assembly to the hose. Again I just used my engineering skills and it went together very well. I would suggest that you get the instructions (if they sent one) as getting the split washer properly seated in the assemble is the key to success. The nut jams the washer along the hose and over the mandrel fro a secure fit. I feel that this design will never come off as it is really tight and secure. There has been some good thought put into this design. Fitting the accessory set into the hose assembly is a snap. My wife is especially happy with this fitting as it has not come off and sprayed her with water and I do not suspect it ever will. I really do not think two people could pull it off. Our previous fittings (from Europe) were useless and were always coming off and one had to shorten the hose every time it happened. Good on yer guys at Hose Link - Our fears of getting wet when we water the garden are over and we can get along with watering the garden and other things and not fixing hose ends.”
