I contacted live chat and was directed to purchase what I actually needed. The operator was very helpful. I learned more about my hose and in two minutes my hose is fixed

I couldn’t under the sprayer at all … so all the rings and bits and pieces are waiting for a “men’s shed” appointment that I have 2nd Saturday in June. Hopefully one of the men there can undo the nut and fix the sprayer for me. Thank you for the o-rings. Hopefully it will all work well when fixed properly.

If spray gun is left attached to hose reel pressure builds up in hose and if you release fitting without using gun handle O ring often pops off hence the need for spares.

Hi Sheralyn,Thanks for taking the time to leave your comments and sorry you have had issues with the O-Rings popping out when uncoupling the photos. As you have pointed out, you do need to turn the tap off and release the pressure in the hose by squeezing the trigger to prevent this from happening. Releasing the pressure after use is something we always recommend doing as this can over time but pressure on the internals of the unit.We can always pop some O-Rings in an envelope and post these out for free if you need some. Just get in touch with our customer service team on 1300 900 617.Kind Regards,The Hoselink Team

Its strange to use 2 O rings against each other. This is the only instance I've seen it in 40 years engineering experience. That being said it does seem to work. Usually a face sealing O ring is used against a flat surface. This would work but surfaces would need to kept smooth and flat and tolerances tight to make sure compression of the O ring was uniform. O rings are very cheap to buy in bulk. Usually 2-5 cents each. Three for $2.20 including postage is OK because I expect postage and packing is what you are paying for.
