Hi Ryan, Thank you for leaving us a review, sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your fittings leaking. If the problem is not with the o-rings then we would suggest re-fitting the hose end connector, this should resolve the problem for you. “I’ve been using our 30 metre Hoselink retractable hose reel for about 5 years now and I love it. There have been no issues with it at all. Rather than connect it to the house wall, we cemented a post in the ground about 3 metres from the tap and connected to that. This allows greater range, and I can take the hose to all parts of the garden. I live where it gets very hot in the summer and very frosty cold in the winter. The temperature extremes are bad for exposed hoses, and I’ve found no issues since using the fully protected Hoselink Reel. I think it’s important to keep the hose as clean as possible, so when retracting it, I use a clean, damp cloth along the surface of the hose, so there is no build up of dirt inside the Reel. Thanks for a great product.”
Hi Keith,Thanks for your comments. To prevent the O-Rings from popping out you need to release the water pressure in the hose. To do this, you need to turn the tap off and squeeze the trigger on the spray gun before undoing any of your hose connections.Kind Regards,The Hoselink Team
