“I tried to fit it today, but it doesn’t fit. About 10mm too long and a millimetre too wide, so totally useless. All I wanted was a couple of rubber “O”rings, but had to buy the repair kit instead. $7.50 against 20 cents for “O”rings.”

As it states in the description on the website, this kit is only suitable for the 5528 model of the 7 Function Spray Gun. Is this the spray gun you are using it on? If not, then you would need a different part. Do you know which model spray gun you have and which o-rings you need, was it the ones on the silver plunger?
