“Look, your product is very good. The connections never burst, the hose is strong and of very good quality. HOWEVER my old reel burst internally (water spraying out INSIDE the hosereel) after a relatively short life (not abused, covered, and hose always retracted when not in use). So I was disapointed with that. Not up to the quality of the rest of the product.
Now, the kind lady who fielded my complaint at hoselink very kindly gave me a big discount on a new 20m reel (35 percent off) for which I was grateful (she agreed the reel should have lasted MUCH longer) , BUT it should not have been required. Other people I know have had hoselink reels for many years and have never had a problem. Maybe mine was a dud. Anyway the replacement reel seems fine, and I now have the old hose (rescued from the broken reel) as a spare out back, so all's well that ends well I suppose. Overall a fantastic product, my one bad experience notwithstanding.”
