“Unfortunately it arrived broken. It was an internalPlastic fantastic part. But the follow from my initial call with Megan was great. Returned email then confirmation a new one was on its way. I would be keen to complete another review when the new one arrives and I can water my veggies with out Mamma bear tangling the hose. Maybe I should call her tangles. All good and stay tuned.”
“Absolutely fantastic service. We purchased 2 of the large hosereels in beautiful black. One had a part that was broken when we unpacked it. Spoke to the service dept. within days a new hose was delivered. This is now our 3rd large hosereel and we are very happy with both the product and the service.”
“Overall, the hose is good to use. It certainly beats having to use a kitchen sink hose adaptor (since I live in an apartment with no tap outlet in the front balcony). I was able to have a tap outlet installed near my hot water system out the back courtyard and run the 30 metre hose through the apartment to the other side where my front balcony to water my plants and clean the tiles. The only qualms I have with the retractable hose reel is the actual retracting. Specifically as the hose is almost fully retracted, there remains a section of hose that wont retract further so that the hose ball is near to the opening of the reel. At least a metre of hose remains un-retracted . Wouldn't it be good if the retracting mechanism worked similar to a vacuum cleaner's electrical cord retractor? I get the fact that a cord and a hose are two different weights etc...still would be nice to have. Apart from this, I would recommend the Hoselink purely for the water flow control feature, which saves you having to go back to the tap to turn on/off. :)”
