“Bit of a story I’m afraid.Original unit I received was faulty - the spray patterns weren’t working properly, multiple nozzles were leaking.Your young lady in Customer Service was excellent, and organised despatch of a replacement gun the same day.....however it, the replacement was also faulty on arrival a couple of days later.This time the On/Off switch was very tight and jamming, and wouldn’ t work properly. As the reel was a gift for my daughter I couldn’t wait any longer for another replacement.Bottom line, after a fair bit of dismantling, manipulation and repetitive switching I got it working in a fashion, although it is still very tight. No way would my daughter have persevered with it.By way of constructive comment could I suggest you have a look at your QA procedures to ensure that these type of frustrating and annoying, but relatively minor faults, are addressed before the product gets to the customer, and certainly not any replacement units despatched following a problem!!While I am still a satisfied and happy Hoselink customer , I’m not sure my daughter would bother again, if I hadn’t intervened.Cheers.Bob Wilson.0427034036”
“Like most folk, I have had many hose reels in my lifetime. Indeed, this Hoselink reel is the third I have at present.Looks - it is a great looking piece of kit. The charcoal reel, with the same dark hose and fittings, looks 'classy'.Functionality - while I have only had limited use of the reel, it feels a quality item. The locking/unlocking mechanism is actioned with little action required. It works extremely well. I like that it fits on to competitor's wall fitting: it saved me fitting the Hoselink one and I can easily swap it around if needed.Value - it is on par (price wise) with other brand reels; however, this appears to me to be superior.Delivery - it arrived quickly and was well packaged.Comparison - this is the best reel I have ever had!!!Improvements - I can't think of any. It is really worth getting ... and as Molly would say, 'do yourself a favour'.”
“Multi function sprayer feels plasticy and cheap. What happened to the good sturdy metal ones like I got with my last Hoselink reel? The water patterns in the new sprayer have changed too... not as good as the old one. A l ittle disappointing.”
“I’ve had the two retractable hose reels mounted on the wall last week but haven’t had the chance to use them as yet, we’ve had some rain. I’m looking forward to using them.”
