“Recently purchased my third hosereel and associated accessories. Have always been a big Hoselink brand advocate, and continue to be one, but I’m a little disappointed by the lower quality hose supplied with the last reel. It’s noticeably softer and more flexible which causes kinks not seen in my two older models. The hose itself also tainted the water with a highly chemically laced aroma and flavour for several months. The water was undrinkable, and we were not able to even fill the dogs bowl with the hose for fear of making the dogs ill. The hose continues to taint the water held in the hose between use, but its severity is slowly diminishing. Feels to me simply like a cheaper quality substitution which is disappointing from a company i hold so highly.Still a great product, but disappointed to see the penny pinching quality reduction for such an expensive product.”
“I love it, it's so easy if I need extrs length, I just stay where I am and gently pull out some more, previously, with my old one, I had to go back to the unit and tug it out thjen push it back in when it stopped redrawing. With this I need to be alert as to how fast it retracts and not let it go.Fantastic.”

“Fantastic - no more busting hose fittings, easy pull out and retraction. This product is far superior than any competitor's product on the domestic market available in retail stores. The common hose connectors widely available have a limited life and are frustratingly unreliable.I have notice the starting of 'chalking' on the housing casing of a reel purchased a few years ago so will obtain a UV cover for the latest reel purchased last month.”
