“As a police officer this item strange as it may seem, is normally stolen around about 10PM as per statistics. The most common reason is that many people are taking walks in the evenings and during the warmer months house holders are out watering the lawn or garden. Some of the people walking about in the evening are also on the lookout for bargains and hence hose reels are high on the agenda to be stolen from your front yard at a later time. After purchasing my hose reel and attaching it to the wall, the main pin that supports the unit will pass all the way through the wall bracket and with this I have drilled a hole through it and attached a nice size padlock.”
“Dealing with your people is a pleasure and the product is very good and working to specification. Very good hold point and rewind facility. Only one thought in that there is a tendency for excessive wear on the plastic 'Hoselink' end fitting. This due to abrasion from concrete and tiles wear in the rewind process. Maybe a metal 'protective ring' or section could be fitted in the manufacturing process?”
“The hose reel went up on the wall very easily using the supplied template and it's been a delight to use. We would encourage, however, Hoselink to produce a protective cover for the reel, in a suitable waterproof material, that could either be bought with the reel or as an extra.”
