“I selected this item after a bit of research into Hose reels generally, the price seems ok for top gear and I'm sure the Hose reel is good quality, but I've only had it for a short time to see if it fulfils all my expectations. “the hose reel has worked very well since i purchased it and i don't expect i will have any problems with it in the forseeable future. i have two items to mention though, the hose taints the water flowing through it with a very strong plasticky smell which i am hoping will disappear the more i use the hose and secondly a suggestion for the starter packs of accessories which come supplied standard with the hose reels is to include a click on adapter in the kit so that purchasers dont have to change the connector fittings on all of their other sprinklers and watering accessories. i have a lady who washes my dog and all the fittings she uses are standard click on fittings so i have had to keep my old hose by the tap to connect to her trailer when she comes over.it sort of defeats the purpose of having a new hose and reel and an extra $3.50 on the overall purchase price would be no bother to anyone buying a product of this quality. regards, mitchell welsh”
“Hi this has been a great buy, its made watering so much easier. The locking system makes it easy to pull out the required length and the auto return is quick and keeps the hose protected from the sun and and doesn't kink etc. I'm about to buy another one for the other side of the house.
