“I love the look/ feel and features of the product, unfortunately the ability for the connector between the outside of the reel and the inside will break under pressure and leak water. So the only work around is to use the hose at half pressure and only when in use, otherwise must turn off the tap when not in use.”
“My hose reel arrived within a few days of order, very quick delivery.Very easy to assemble. Its exactly what I needed for my small courtyard, I love it.My only negative, a catalogue came in the box showing new colours for the attachments, which wouldve been perfect had I been given the option to select the matching attachments. Cant really justify spending the extra at the moment, that will have to wait.”
“Product is lightweight and the selector nozzle attachment has a great jet setting which is helps reach distant areas without dissipating and spraying out. This was purchased for an elderly woman for the lightweight aspect and the size was right for her small garden. The only issue is that the on /off method uses a pivoting rubber mechanism at the back of the nozzle which is very firm to use. Designed I guess to be operated by thumb i think it requires more finger strength than many elderly people can easily apply”
“Terrible, we purchased from hoselink to support an australian company and the water pressure and hence effectiveness was sub standard. The water pressure could not be used for cleaning purposes on our small vernadah as the pressure was so weak, you can only water a pot plant its so weak. We have already thrown out the hose and reverted back to a bunnings hose to support water pressure that is effective for cleaning and watering. We never do reviews and wish to support an australian company however when you are paying above average rates for a product that doesnt deliver on purpose that is very disappointing”
Hi Kelly, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the pressure from the Compact Hose Reel. With the unit being so small, the hose is slightly smaller in diametre than our standard hoses however, it should not restrict the flow drastically. If you do not have good water pressure or use water tanks then we wouldn't recommend this product but if you are just using mains pressure then this should be fine.
